Akasuriya Yusuke

At the end of the century, swayed by the waves of recession and turmoil, a bright, piercing brain weather hero is born. A man who trained deep in the mountains of India and is rumored to have even made Michael Jackson white. He was involved in a big incident over the existence of the nuclear material Uranium ore vein that produces enormous energy and must get himself out of this predicament.

Directed by Takao Nakano, Akasuriya Yusuke leans on a strong ensemble — Takeshi Yamato, Minami Kurihara, Marie Jinno — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about action titles of 1995.
