About Ève et les bonnes pommes
To inherit his uncle's immense fortune, Frédéric must divorce his wife with of course all the wrongs against her. He unsuccessfully tries the "love strike" and ends up employing a detective to help him find the fault of his decidedly too embarrassing wife. An idea comes to him: his wife is a fan of naturism.
Directed by Claude Sendron, Ève et les bonnes pommes leans on a strong ensemble — Michel Danjou, Jane Bruno, Jacques Prévot — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 1965.
