Three Friends

Narankhüu and Sarantuya, who study in a school in the city, go out to the country during their summer vacation and meet Balbar, a shepherd boy. They tell the story of their childhood from the local old man Dandar. However, accidentally attacking a group of thieves hiding there, Erdene reveals the secret of the lover's tank.

Directed by Dorjpalam Ravjaa, Three Friends leans on a strong ensemble — E. Ganbold, Yo. Tsetsegmaa, Naydangiyn Nyamdavaa — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about family titles of 1958.
