About Za pisuton: Reijō-hen
Mizumori and Aoyagi drive a Cadillac to Roppongi for the purpose of picking up girls. When the Roppongi gals saw the extremely anachronistic Cadillac, they laughed and left. When Mizumori starts driving again, he spots a nice woman, Chikako Aoyama, who is trying to stop her taxi.
Directed by Hitoshi Nimura, Za pisuton: Reijō-hen leans on a strong ensemble — Yûko Sawaki, Mirai Kanō, Reika Kano — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 1987.
