Na Xin is appointed as the head of a committee tasked with safeguarding the valuable relics from the Eastern Tombs, a significant cultural responsibility. However, things take a dark turn when the treasures, supposedly under careful protection, are replaced with worthless debris, and rumors of a heist spread. Accused of orchestrating the theft and betraying his duty, Na Xin finds himself standing trial, while the true criminals remain hidden in the shadows.
Directed by Li Yundong, Dong ling da dao Part 5 leans on a strong ensemble — Xuecheng Fu, Hu Qingshi, Bing Dou — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
