About A Love Story
Peng Zigang and Zhao Xiaoping live together in the same room, and they get along well. When they learned that a tenant had moved out, they both begged the landlord to rent the room to their girlfriends, and they did not give in to each other. Fortunately, the landlord intervened and their girlfriends lived with them in the neighboring room. Kong is simple, but his girlfriend Dufen is fashionable; Ping is active, but his girlfriend Tang Ying is quiet. The two lovers eventually broke up due to personality disagreement, but instead, they were married to their best friend's partner.
Directed by Griffin Yueh Feng, A Love Story leans on a strong ensemble — Helena Law Lan, Hoo Wang, Helen Li Mei — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
