Drawn from Memory

Marek decides to make a documentary about his grandmother. She accepts provided she can fulfill her dream: play a vampire in a series of amateur horror movies. In time, Marek realizes that his grandmother is losing her memory and that he is making a movie totally different from the one he set out to make.

Directed by Marcin Bortkiewicz, Drawn from Memory leans on a strong ensemble — Irena Jun, Małgorzata Zajączkowska, Marek Kantyka — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2012.
