About The house is haunted
In the play The House is Haunted, a man buys a house with a history for a great price. He moves there with his two adult children during the day and his new Lebanese wife joins them that night. All he wants is to consummate his marriage, but his children and a spectral presence in the house get in his way. Though, all may not be as it seems.
Directed by Abdelaziz Al-Musallam, The house is haunted leans on a strong ensemble — Ghanem Al-Saleh, Basma Hamada, Abdelaziz Al-Musallam — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about horror titles of 1996.
