The Norman Rockwell Code

A parody of The Da Vinci Code. When the curator of The Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, Massachusetts is murdered, police call in symbology professor Langford Fife (son of Mayberry Deputy Barney Fife) to investigate. Teaming up with Sopha Poisson, the Québécoise granddaughter of the murdered curator, they set out to decode secret messages hidden in Rockwell's paintings and uncover a grand conspiracy that they may have already had an unwitting part in.

Directed by Alfred Thomas Catalfo, The Norman Rockwell Code leans on a strong ensemble — Mike Walsh, Danica Carlson, Fritz Wetherbee — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2006.
