But just like the previous film, this film is still a combination of humor that stems from the mischief of Lupus et al. Lupus and his girlfriend's parents have "cute creatures on the bus" who it is not clear who the director is, participates in film production but fails, etc.
Directed by Achiel Nasrun, Lupus 2 (Makhluk Manis Dalam Bis) leans on a strong ensemble — Ryan Hidayat, Nunu Datau, Ria Irawan — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 1987.
