About Le Collège des cœurs brisés
The College of Broken Hearts is a French television series in 37 episodes of 26 minutes, created by Jean-François Porry and broadcast from September 23, 1992 on TF1 then on AB1. It depicts the students of a rather special college which "repairs" broken hearts.
Directed by Jean-Luc Azoulay, Le Collège des cœurs brisés leans on a strong ensemble — Muriel Deantoni, Nathalie Dudeck, Frédéric Lachkar — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The series landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 1992.
