Las Buchonas

It revolves around Aurora, Yuliana, Manuela and Tabatha, four women seduced by power and money. Aurora's life changes the day the authorities unfairly kill her father. Once a citizen of Tierra Blanca, she became the leader of a group of women who rebelled against an unjust patriarchy.

Directed by Andres López, Las Buchonas leans on a strong ensemble — Vanessa Arias, Candela Márquez, Thalí García — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The series landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about crime titles of 2018.
