"A healthy Constitution" goes into what happened after the final defeat of the British, the lack of funds to run the country, James Madison's salvation of the revolution, and George Washington's refusal of the title "King".
Directed by —, Founding Fathers leans on a strong ensemble — Edward Herrmann, Beau Bridges, James Woods — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The series landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2000.
