This new telenovela tells the story of a feisty, entrepreneurial woman who is capable of anything to achieve her dreams. Nora's dream is to have a quiet life but also full of comforts, not only for her but also for her siblings. He cares a lot for his mother because she is plunged into a deep depression due to the great defeats in her life. Nora has a brother who is in jail whom she visits constantly but in one of her visits she is caught by the prison leader who provokes a riot, using her to escape, it is where they pass a world of experiences that strengthen their will to live .
Directed by Ibsen Martínez, Nora leans on a strong ensemble — Carla Giraldo, Andrés Zúñiga, Sabrina Seara — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The series landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2014.

When Refugio and her three sons—Patricio, Edmundo, and Ignacio—are forced out of their home, a twist of fate brings them to Mexico City, where they begin a new life. Eighteen years later, they are settled in a small apartment in a working-class neighborhood. Refugio holds a modest job; although she suffers from serious vision problems, she neglects her own health to attend to her sons' needs. Patricio is studying law and dreams of a comfortable, prosperous future; his mother admires him for his charitable nature. Meanwhile, Edmundo begins courting Lucero—unintentionally hurting Ignacio, who secretly loved her—while Refugio tries in vain to make Patricio understand that he will never be happy with Olga.
