About Koi no Yamai to Yarou-gumi
The main characters of this story are eight high school boys who are in the so-called "Yarogumi", the only class which has only boys. Of course, there is no opportunity to interact with girls and the group has lost the ability to talk to them so, in order to get a girlfriend, the eight work hard to overcome their "illness", even though they always end up failing.
Directed by Shunpei Maruya, Koi no Yamai to Yarou-gumi leans on a strong ensemble — Oriyama Nao — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The series landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2019.
