The story takes place in a small town in Crete with the White Mountains as a backdrop. A family sees their lives change when they suddenly learn that their 6-year-old son Pavlis, whom they consider a musical genius, has been diagnosed with autism. The series is based on the Keshet series "The A Word".
Directed by Theo Papadoulakis, The word you don't say leans on a strong ensemble — Dimitris Katalifos, Maximos Moumouris, Penelope Tsilika — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
