About Wumpa's World
A children's television series for three to five year olds that stars a collection of puppet characters who live in the Canadian North: Wumpa the walrus, Tiguak the polar bear, Seeka and Tuk the snow hares, and Zig and Zag, a pair of fun-loving snowmobiles. Wumpa the Walrus opens the episode with a concept and proceeds to tell a story concerning that concept. Each episode has a specific message or lesson within it.
Directed by Steven Westren, Greg Dummett, Wumpa's World leans on a strong ensemble — Pier Paquette, André Meunier, Lorne Cardinal — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The series landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about animation titles of 2001.

Milne's works; the other two were the live-action Welcome to Pooh Corner and the animated The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh which ran from 1988-1991. It was shown in U.K on a Channel 5 Block known as 'Milkshake!' as well as Playhouse Disney. It's run on Milkshake! ended around 2006 to 2007.
