Second Proposal

Jang Mi Young was a happily married mother of 2 when she finds out her husband is having an affair. This results in a divorce, and her husband and his new bride gain custody of the children. Mi Young must strike out on her own and rebuild her life and career after many years as a housewife. Fortunately, she has a friend by her side, a handsome younger man named Nam Kyung Soo who finds himself feeling sympathy for Mi Young and wanting to help her get back on her feet again.

Directed by Kim Pyung Joong, Park Eun Ryeong, Second Proposal leans on a strong ensemble — Heo Young-ran, Oh Yeon-soo, Oh Ji-ho — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The series landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2004.
