Nanoca Flanka is a genius inventor girl working hard in her atelier in order to revitalize the town of Tristia. One day her archrival, Panavia Tornado, suddenly arrives the town and challenges Nanoka to compete against her in the upcoming mechanical golem tournament.
Directed by Kuma-san Team, Tristia of the Deep-Blue Sea leans on a strong ensemble — Ayako Kawasumi, Marina Oono, Sakura Nogawa — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The series landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about animation titles of 2004.
