For Eric, Kelso, Jackie, Hyde, Donna and Fez, a group of high school teens who spend most of their time hanging out in Eric’s basement, life in the ‘70s isn’t always so groovy. But between trying to figure out the meaning of life, avoiding their parents, and dealing with out-of-control hormones, they’ve learned one thing for sure: they’ll always get by with a little help from their friends.

The story follows Patricia "Patito" Castro, a kind and talented girl who moves to Buenos Aires with her mother in search of a better life. There, she meets her father for the first time, falls in love with Matías, and becomes involved in a rivalry between two groups of students, Las Divinas and Las Populares. As Patito faces bullying, friendship, family secrets, and first love, she learns that true beauty comes from kindness, honesty, and self-confidence.

Outgoing 13-year-old Sydney is on the fast track to growing up, despite the goodhearted efforts of her protective father, Max. As Sydney attempts to spread her wings and make more decisions for herself, Max does everything he can to rein her in and keep her his little girl. But in so doing, his mother, Judy, is reminded of his own antics at Sydney's age, and the parallels -- illustrated by comical flashback sequences starring a young Max -- are both amusing and enlightening.
