About Gumman som blev liten som en tesked
The Lady Who Became as Small as a Teaspoon, also known as The Teaspoon Lady, was the 1967 Advent calendar produced by Sveriges Radio and Sveriges Television. The series is based on the books by Norwegian author Alf Prøysen about the Teaspoon Lady, who lives a quiet life with her husband but occasionally and suddenly becomes as small as a teaspoon. In her miniature size, she can talk to animals and finds herself in various imaginative adventures where her wisdom and resourcefulness help her solve problems.
Directed by Alf Prøysen, Gumman som blev liten som en tesked leans on a strong ensemble — Birgitta Andersson, Carl-Gustaf Lindstedt, Inga Gill — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The series landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about family titles of 1967.
