The Escort Officer is a satirical story about the life of a police officer who encounters troubles during his service. Sergeant Asef Qarqchi (Sirous Gorjestani), a conscientious and experienced officer who is on the verge of retirement, is assigned to transfer Afshin (Mohsen Tanabandeh) to the military prosecutor's office; but due to incidents, Afshin manages to escape with the help of his sister's husband (Seyed Javad Rezavian).
Directed by Saeed Soltani, Mamoor Badraghe leans on a strong ensemble — Sirous Gorjestani, Mohsen Tanabandeh, Javad Razavian — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The series landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2008.
