Pasar Malam

After being unceremoniously fired from a Michelin-starred restaurant, chef Salihin Aziz makes a big career change to join his brother Yan – at his burger stall in a local pasar malam! As Burgergar joins stalwarts of the Pasar Malam, including Appa’s Vadai, Takoyaki and Mr. Kebab, Yan and Salihin find themselves not only flipping patties but also reopening old wounds, as long-buried tensions between the brothers resurface. Amid sizzling grills and bustling crowds, they must navigate simmering resentment, clashing ambitions, and the unspoken grief that has shaped their family, all while trying to keep their stall, and their bond, from falling apart.

Directed by Raihan Halim, Pasar Malam leans on a strong ensemble — Shahril Wahid, Mierul Aiman, Yuslina Yussof — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The series landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2025.
