Antique restorer Sang Qian (Claire Sanders), misunderstanding that her husband Jin Changyu (Charles King) still harbors feelings for his unrequited love, files for divorce in despair. However, she unexpectedly discovers she's pregnant, but her doctor tells her she can't have an abortion due to health reasons. Jin Changyu uses this opportunity to offer two choices: cancel the divorce or get a divorce certificate, but they must live together during the pregnancy. Sang Qian, seeking freedom, chooses the latter, beginning a post-divorce "roommate" relationship. During their cohabitation, her workaholic ex-husband transforms into a clingy figure, displaying his affection. Sang Qian gradually realizes that their relationship is built on layers of misunderstanding, ultimately resolving their issues and reconciling.
