About The Invisible Visor
The Invisible Visor (Das unsichtbare Visier) was an East German television series, broadcast with long intervals between 1973 and 1979. In its first and longest season it starred Armin Mueller-Stahl in the role of Werner Bredebusch, a Stasi agent active abroad under the alias Achim Detjen.
Directed by Herbert Schauer, Otto Bonhoff, The Invisible Visor leans on a strong ensemble — Gunter Schoß, Marion van de Kamp, Gerry Wolff — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The series landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about crime titles of 1973.
