Bordertown is a television western-drama series that aired from 1989 to 1991. It depicts the town formerly known as Pemmican that was later renamed Bordertown when the western border between the United States and Canada was surveyed in 1880, dividing the town.
Directed by Robert Lantos, Bordertown leans on a strong ensemble — Sophie Barjac, John H. Brennan, Richard Comar — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The series landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about western titles of 1989.
