About The Children of Greece
Three airthcraftmen have their military service in an aviation office camp. The commander of this camp is Kakalos with the military rank of Group Captain. He is a strict commander but he is also ambitious, flirtatious and sometimes blunderer. Other basic members of the cast are Hlapatsas, a nark aircraftman, Karavaneas a naive sergeant and Boubou the secretary of the commander. The series is based on the funny situations between the staff of this aviation camp.
Directed by Giannis Bezos, Dimitris Venizelos, The Children of Greece leans on a strong ensemble — Yiannis Savvidakis, Giannis Bezos, Kostas Evripiotis — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The series landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 1993.
