One unlucky day, a married couple with four children get an eviction notice: the building they live in is to be demolished. The family looks desperately for a new home, which is no easy task in Madrid in the fifties.

Two women (both played by Imperio Argentina) from different social backgrounds, a singer and a countess, become entangled in a love triangle over their love for the same man.

A Dutch sailing ship finds the wreckage of a Spanish mail ship, which has collided with an iceberg. Inside, the bodies of a man and a woman are found embraced.

Rumbo is a nice and splendid young man of gypsy origin who is in Seville with Gabriel, an old friend who was saved from suicide thanks to his intervention, who got rich in Paris thanks to the money Rumbo gave him, to the point of become an important and millionaire banker in London, Buenos Aires and Seville.
