Moscow, early 20th century: Stray dog Samson, fleeing from animal catchers, finds himself in the Bolshoy Theater, where he meets charming Margot, a pet of prima ballerina Anastasia. The plot thickens as the unique tiara that belonged to the Queen of Great Britain and that Anastasia has to wear in the fourth act, is stolen from the dressing room. Without the tiara, the show cannot go on, so Margot and Samson have to save the day to the sounds of the great Georges Bizet.

Graduates of the psychology faculty Vika, Tanya and Alina know firsthand what "cognitive helplessness", "impostor syndrome" and "demon of jealousy" are. However, after meeting ten years later, the girls realize that Freud and other luminaries of psychology do not save their personal lives. Alina starts fleeting affairs, Vika has become a tyrant in her own family, and Tanya has acquired a baggage of complexes. The friends got close again to help each other with professional advice when the diagnosis should be made not to the patient, but to herself.

In the final credits, the director apologizes to Jim Jarmusch, whose work (in the anthology Coffee and Cigarettes, which Jarmusch shot in pieces over many years) Oldenburg-Svintsov is clearly indebted to. Sex, Coffee, Cigarettes’s kinship with Jarmusch’s film extends to the fact that superstars play tiny roles in almost all of the vignettes.

Andrey, the co-founder of a large advertising agency, has everything in his successful life: an apartment in the city center, fashionable friends, and a great future in the advertising field. But one day a nine-year-old child appears on his doorstep, claiming that he is his son. Now Andrey has a difficult path ahead of him: to become a father without giving up his career, and, most importantly, to find the mother of a child from dozens of his former lovers.

A backwater prison house is expecting a high-profile international inspection. The delegation members will review living conditions and inmates’ «customer experience».
