Set during the Cold War period in the 1980s, The Americans is the story of Elizabeth and Philip Jennings, two Soviet KGB officers posing as an American married couple in the suburbs of Washington D.C. and their neighbor, Stan Beeman, an FBI Counterintelligence agent.

After falling victim to a humiliating prank by the high school Queen Bee, best friends and world-class geeks, Mindy and Jodi, decide to get their revenge by uniting the outcasts of the school against her and her circle of friends.

Follows a team of friends bonded by an irrational obsession with their men's hockey team, The Chubbys. While their hockey skills may be limited, their passion is not, as shown by the chaos of their devotion to the game created in their everyday lives.
