In a haunting southern town, a new police officer is tasked with informing a young woman of her husband's grisly murder, but battles with his own convictions when he becomes suspicious the widow might have played a role in her husband's death.

A family plans to renovate a rundown farmhouse during the summer but uncovers a nest of giant snake eggs and an unusual squatter on the property... Soon the eggs hatch, releasing deadly killer snakes and the family must begin a deadly fight to survive.
