Paris, 1871. This is a story of the women trapped in a luxury brothel, 'Paradise'. The very young Rose came to Paris in search of her mother, former prostitute. She is trapped and forced to enroll in Paradise. Vera is 35 years. She knows that the end of her career as a prostitute is near. She is betting everything on the Baron Du Plessis, her main client, and the only one able to redeem her debt. Hortense is the owner of Paradise. The movie “1506 – The Lisbon Genocide” shows a massacre against the Jews that has been forgotten. On the 19th April begun the start of the massacre which for three days assassinated about three thousand Jews in Lisbon. The bonfires went as high as the houses, in a city filled with quartered bodies where heads were paraded on the points of spears.

Pedro and Inês, a couple, travel from Lisbon to watch Ovar's Carnaval. They get lost in the swamp of Ria, where they almost run over Teresa, a missing child. Teresa runs away, and Pedro and Inês search for her in the lagoon, white also protecting her from a strange and dangerous group of masked people who also look for the child called the Dominos.
