SOKO Donau is an Austrian television series.

The criminal psychologist Richard Brock teaches at the University of Vienna. He used to work as a psychologist until his wife took her own life and he lost his license on suspicion of incorrect treatment. In the meantime he has developed a reputation as a particularly good interrogation specialist and is therefore called in by the police in special cases.

20-year-old Rocco (Morteza Tavakoli) wants to strike out on his own and break out of his family’s rigid life. Through the friendship of Max (Ronald Rudoll) and Leila (Anna Franziska Srna), who are working on opening a bar, Roccco’s dream of a “normal life” becomes a possibility. But Rocco is equally drawn to the cool appearance of criminal Bobo (Ronald Hein. By the time Rocco realizes what is behind Bobo’s friendly exterior however, his life has already spun out of control.

Jessi is eleven and longs to go back to the place where she spent her early childhood. She has an important role to play in the life of her mother, who has been in prison for several months. Since her older sister Bibi broke off all contact with their mother Jessi is now her mother’s only contact to the outside world.

When Fuchs starts his new job as a teacher in a prison school, replacing the old and unconventional teacher Berger against her will, he is forced to confront his biggest fear, triggered by the mysterious, withdrawn inmate Samira.
