Ne'One fights to preserve her marriage while going through an individual crisis that has created a state of defiant retrenchment. Despite all of her husband's efforts to connect, she seems to sink deeper into a mental and emotional trough. Over a very short period, her condition worsens, in what can best be described as a psychological civil war.

All her life, Hope has dreamed of becoming a lawyer and one day helping her people out of ghetto oppression. By some uncanny fate, Hope meets the handsome thug, Life, in the midst of his desperate attempts to elude a massive police manhunt. Their brief encounter leads to a liaison of lust.
