About Lesbian Citizen Naoko-san
Naoko-san is an alien from the planet Yuri, who is plotting to conquer the Earth by yurifying it. Misuzu is a junior high girl and is always troubled by Naoko-san, who lives on the roof of her house. They hear rumors that a molester is wandering around in the area, so they decide to investigate.
Directed by Tetsuya Takeuchi, Lesbian Citizen Naoko-san leans on a strong ensemble — Satomi Arai, Akari Harashima, Ai Nonaka — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about animation titles of 2010.
