The Cat

Raul, Camilo and Armando are three friends who, forced by the crisis, plan to kill a neighbor’s cat to eat meat in the “Periodo Especial” in Cuba (1989).

Directed by Lilo Vilaplana, The Cat leans on a strong ensemble — Alberto Pujol, Jorge Perugorría, Bárbaro Marín — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
