Beautiful Mechanics

With a technical education background, Eva (Eva Arnaz) tries to become an entrepreneur by opening a workshop. She's assisted by several friends and the business becomes a success. Engineering student Rudy (Geroge Rudy), one of her customers, becomes smitten with the beauty, much to the dismay of his wealthy parents, who look down upon Eva for her "lowly" blue collar career.

Directed by B.Z. Kadaryono, Beautiful Mechanics leans on a strong ensemble — Eva Arnaz, George Rudy, Enny Beatrice — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 1984.
