The Podcats

Senzo, Mimo, Gala and Bella are videogame characters and the members of a cyber-vintage band : The Podcats. Carefree, they are all-out Baby rockers with a thing for pop-rock tunes ! As the Podcats evolve in virtual worlds and interact with their inhabitants, their fast-paced adventures joyfully caricatures these universes. As self-respecting Mini-geeks, these rocking whiz kids know their videogame, internet and high-tech environments. The profcats files, featured in all episodes, are a survival kit to the worlds explored by the podcats.

Directed by Eric Chevalier, Nathalie Blanchard, Ian Parovel, The Podcats leans on a strong ensemble — Alexis Tomassian, Diane Dassigny, Carole Baillien — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The series landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about animation titles of 2009.
