Sakura Kurata and Kosuke Tsukamoto are members of the movie club at their high school. They then organize a movie shoot which which revolves around the urban legend and occult game "hide-and-seek alone". The game involves a ritual with a doll to contact the dead. The students persuade a teacher to allow them to shoot the movie at midnight in the school. The students begin their film, but they soon experience a lot more than they expected.

Psychic experiences, bizarre phenomena, and the darkness that eats away at people's hearts... With the keyword "scary" in mind, this film recreates horror stories collected from all over Japan, focusing on the inner lives of the people who experienced them!

'Yokai Dai Seiki' is an ominous work about 10 Yokai's. Some included are Kappa, Red Cloak, Nure-onna, Shichinin Misaki and Yamachichi.
